Studio Hours Alert & COVID-19 Safety Measures

Over the next few weeks our studios will have varying hours depending on the local situation in each area.  Please call our studio on the day of your appointment to ensure the studio will remain open.

Studio Updates:

Florida (Miami-Dade County): All Miami-Dade County studios have closed as part of a local ordinance 

Florida (Broward County): Ft. Lauderdale &  Weston studios have temporarily closed 

New Jersey: Jersey City & Hoboken studios have closed as part of a local ordinance in NJ

New York City: Our studios have closed as part of a local ordinance 

Steps We Are Taking Against Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Your comfort and well-being when waxing is always our top priority. At Uni K Wax Studio, we have uncompromising attention to hygienic detail in each of our studios and wanted to take a moment to express additional steps we have taken in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19):

Our Uni K Wax App

We have expedited the launch of our mobile app which can be found in your app store right now. 

You can use the app to:

Book an appointment 

Check-in when you arrive to the studio 

Fill out your customer information form directly on your own iPhone or Android device

Paper Based Check-in Option

Should you not want to use an iPad or your own mobile device to check-in for your appointment. Our team can check you in and provide a paper alternative for any forms that need to be filled out prior to your waxing service.

Contactless Payment

We recently upgraded the technology in each of our studios so that you have more ways to pay. As a result, you can now pay for services with a contactless payment method. Use a Tap to Pay Credit Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay when checking out.


A Reminder of Our One Wax Guarantee

We also wanted to take this time to remind you of our One Wax Guarantee. This has always been the norm at Uni K Wax but in a time where cleanliness is so important we wanted to reiterate what you can always count on from us. Our One Wax Guarantee is a commitment that every customer receives their own wax warmer, individually prepared for them.  After each service, the wax warmer is taken to our in-studio wax lab for the remaining wax to be discarded and the wax warmer is then disinfected by our Lab Technician.

Additional Safety Efforts

Our studios are taking measures for the safety of our team and our customers. 

  1. We have reduced the amount of appointments we complete in a day to ensure we have less customers waiting in the reception area when you visit. 
  2. We have spread out services so that they take place in every other wax room in each studio
  3.  We have placed hand sanitizer in our wax rooms and at the checkout counter 

    We have also increased the frequency of cleaning at our studios to ensure a safe environment for our teams and customers. 

    Lastly, we ask anyone that is not feeling well to cancel their appointment and schedule a new appointment once they are healthy.
